DC Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Fair 2012

We regret to inform you that the DC Elementary STEM Festival, originally scheduled for Saturday May 19, 2012, has been cancelled due to a lack of participation. However, we are actively planning as well as seeking your feedback and input in regards to next year’s event.
In the coming weeks, a survey will be sent asking for specific information regarding your ideas and involvement in helping to make the 2013 DC Elementary STEM Festival a success. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. If you have questions, or want to be included in the planning process for 2013, please contact Camsie McAdams, James Rountree or John Neral.
The District of Columbia Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Fair was held on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Wilson High School. During this event, students in grades 6-12 showcased their research skills and competed for a variety of awards and prizes offered by various government agencies, businesses and professional associations.
The DC STEM Fair would like to congratulate School Without Walls High School, whose students swept the Grand Awards for the Senior Division this year, winning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! In addition to the above awards, students also competed for Special Awards and Prizes!
Please note that all participating students will receive a certificate of participation, which will be mailed to their schools within the coming weeks.
